being early isn't all its racked up to be

People are constantly saying that it's always good to be early. You get free stuff, you get noticed, you basically get a head. I personally think this is a load of crab. Take for instance yesterday, I have a class that only meets every once in a while on Wednesday mornings at 8:00am. So I stayed up until 2:30am completing all the homework that I needed to turn in when I arrived at this wonderful 8 A.M. class. I wake up at 7 A.M. get ready for school, catch a bus, and walk to my class room....my empty class room. Oh yeah that's right class doesn't start for another hour!!!! I hate being early!! Tina
